Sparkling Wine Houses – Sonoma

Created for Sparkling Wine enthusiasts this tour visits the three most famous Sparkling Wine houses of Sonoma. All three wineries employ the traditional French technique called Methode Champenoise to create their outstanding wines.

Gloria Ferrer

The Gloria Ferrer story dates back to Spain over 600 years ago, where the Ferrer family was a well-established winegrowing family. After 30 years, with 335 acres under vine, the estate vineyards at Gloria Ferrer produce Pinot Noir and Chardonnay that rival some of the world’s finest.

All Korbel California champagnes are made according to the traditional méthode champenoise, in which the champagne is fermented inside the same bottle from which it is served. This time-honored process takes almost a year to complete, but the result is worth the wait.
