Women Winemakers of Sonoma

We salute the women winemakers of Sonoma by dedicating a tour exclusively to them. This premium tour of the Sonoma Valley showcases three highly acclaimed women winemakers who have made a mark on the Sonoma horizon, in an industry traditionally dominated by men.

Ferrari-Carano Vineyards & Winery

Located in Dry Creek Valley, the estate winery was built in 1981 and focuses on producing Ferrari-Carano’s stellar white wines. Ferrari-Carano harvests their grapes at night, when temperatures are the coolest, giving them crisp and intense fruit flavors.

The grapes for Montemaggiore wines come from their mountainside estate vineyards in Sonoma County, near the small town of Healdsburg. Their location, climate and soils are the key to producing rich, elegant wines.
