So you say you’re “not a tour person.”

We get it. If you ask members of the Green Dream Tours team, we have probably said the same thing at some point in our lives.

Somewhere in the history of tourism, tours got a bad rap. It probably started when a giant bus cluelessly blocked a major intersection near a noted landmark as hoards of tourists poured out onto the streets further blocking traffic as they took photos of said landmark.

Let’s make one thing perfectly clear: That’s not Green Dream Tours.

First of all, we use 14-passenger buses or smaller vans on our small-group public tours. (We can accommodate larger groups on private tours, but our public tour objective is to offer the best small-group tours in San Francisco, allowing us to take guests behind the scenes and away from the crowds.)

We only go to family-owned and boutique wineries, many of which won’t even allow dreaded big-bus tours. We also work closely with our winery partners to ensure that guests receive an immersive, comprehensive Wine Country experience.

Here are 5 reasons to book a small-group wine tour with Green Dream Tours.

You drink, we drive

You could drive to Wine Country, but why? You’ll have much more fun on our group tours when you leave the driving to us. Not only will you avoid drinking and driving, but you also won’t have to worry about directions and deciding which wineries to visit.

Convenient pickups

Green Dream Tours offers pickups at most San Francisco hotels in the Downtown, Fisherman’s Wharf and Marina areas. For those staying at Airbnb properties, we will work with you to coordinate a convenient pickup location.

Meet fun people

Our guides are the best, with years of tourism experience and lots of local knowledge to help make your time in San Francisco special. Besides our guides, you’ll meet fun people on our tours. Wine tasting tends to make even the grumpiest person a lot more friendly.

Escape the fog

San Francisco gets foggy. That’s a fact of life. Locals are trained to wear an extra layer and know that they’ll likely find sunshine just north of the Golden Gate Bridge. It’s really amazing that San Francisco can be so gloomy while a short drive to Wine Country unveils clear, blue skies.

Our tours are cool

We’re cool and so are our tours. Green Dream Tours has been in business for 11 years and we’ve taken close to 50,000 guests to Wine Country. We get many repeat customers who appreciate all the benefits of small-group tours, especially convenience.

If you’re still thinking, “I’m not a tour person” consider that Green Dream Tours offers a 100% satisfaction guarantee. We’re confident that our tours are the best way to experience Wine Country, and we want to make a believer out of you.
