WHAT PEOPLE ARE SAYING ABOUT OUR WINE COUNTRY TOURS
“would suggest to
all our friends”

“This tour was an absolute joy. Jeffrey was a treat. He was so knowledgeable, friendly, and welcoming. The Napa winery was beautiful. The plaza in Sonoma had many food choices. Jeffrey did not stir us wrong with recommendations for ice cream and other tasting rooms. The last winery was in Sonoma and the views were amazing. On the way back to San Francisco, we stopped at the Golden Gate Bridge and got great photos. I can not say enough about this experience and would suggest to all our friends.”

– Madina

“Was wonderful, informative & fun”

“The Small Group Wine tour to Sonoma and Napa, guided by Robin was wonderful. Only 11 on our very informative & fun tour. Each winery we visited discussed different aspects of wine making, it’s history and tasting. Loved going to smaller wineries to taste wines that we typically wouldn’t have a chance to try and being the only group at the winery.”

– Karen

“HIGHLY
RECOMMEND”

“JOE WAS GREAT! Seriously he did a wonderful job ensuring everyone on the tour was comfortable & enjoying themselves. Such a lovely day trip to wine country- loved the extra scenic view drives/stops along the way. Lunch was a perfect stop. All wineries provided different experiences to round out of day. Booking through Green Dreams allowed us to have a logistics free day in wine country- hop on the bus and go! Highly recommend.”

Napa & sonoma wine tour details

What is the meeting point?

For San Francisco Pick Ups

Sunday – Friday: 710 Beach St. San Francisco CA 94109

Saturday: 782 Columbus Ave. San Francisco CA 94133

How long is the tour?

The tour is 9 hours in duration. The tour departs at 8:00 AM, and ends with drop-off at approximately 5:00 PM back at your meeting point (710 Beach Street – Fisherman’s Wharf).

Are wine tasting fees included in the price?

Wine tasting fees are not included in the tour price to offer our guests the flexibility to choose their preferred tasting experiences. Some wineries offer complimentary tastings with wine purchases. This approach allows guests to customize their wine tour based on their preferences and budget, ensuring a more personalized and enjoyable experience. Each wine tasting is $30-$50 per person per tasting.

What is included in the tour?

Your wine tour comes with a variety of experiences and amenities:

– Visits to renowned wineries in both Napa and Sonoma, unlocking the essence of California’s Wine Country.
– Stop at the delightful Sonoma Square during lunchtime. Choose from a diverse range of lunch options, catering to vegetarian, vegan, and gluten-free preferences..
– An extended lunch break, granting you ample time to savor wine tastings or explore the boutiques and art galleries of Sonoma Square.
– Entertaining live narration from your knowledgeable guide, offering insights into the rich history of Wine Country.
– The opportunity to snap memorable photos of the iconic Golden Gate Bridge.
– Bottled water and granola bars, ensuring you stay refreshed and energized throughout the journey.
– Cups provided if you decide to bring wine onto the bus.

What is not included in the tour?

– The price of breakfast/morning snacks and lunch.
– Tasting fees at the wineries are not included and are charged extra by the wineries, compensating them for the wine they pour for guests. Some tasting fees can be higher in the region, but we work hard to cultivate relationships with our winery partners in order to keep the fees at an average of 30-$50 per person per tasting. Because of our partnerships, almost any of the wineries on our shared group tours will often waive a tasting fee with wine purchase or club membership.

What should I bring?

Before embarking on your wine adventure, ensure you have your valid ID, as the legal drinking age in the United States is 21 years.

California’s weather can be quite varied, so we recommend dressing in layers for comfort throughout the day. Consider bringing a hat, and sunglasses to shield yourself from the sun.

While our tour offers a rich array of experiences, please have some money with you for purchasing food and wine during the tour.

We have a cooler that you can fill with beverages to enjoy during the drive. Or, bring your own cooler!

Which wineries do we go to?

We visit wineries in both Sonoma and Napa. Here’s a selection of some of the establishments we go to: Nicholson Ranch, Ru Vanvgo, Highway 12, Roche Winery, Robledo, and Monticello. Peter Cellars, Mayo, James Cole.

How long do we spend at each winery?
The wine tasting experience lengths may vary, however most are approximately one hour in duration, giving you plenty of time to sample the wines and learn about the winemaking processes and history.
Are vegetarian and/or gluten-free selections available?

Yes, many of the restaurants offer vegetarian and/or gluten-free selections, so you should be able to find options that meet your dietary needs easily.

Can we eat and drink on the bus?

Yes, you may eat and drink on the bus. All we ask is that you drink responsibly and please avoid red wine.
