The Wineries You'll Visit

In 1873, John Jacob Buhman became one of Napa’s early wine pioneers when he planted his first grapevine. The property became best known as historic Buhman Cattle Ranch before descendant Don Buhman reintroduced grape growing 20 years ago. At first, he sold his cherished Carneros grapes to brands such as Mumm, Rombauer, Sterling, and Schramsberg. But he was so successful that he started making his own wine, including Chardonnay, Rose, Merlot, and Cabernet Sauvignon. Read more about Buhman Estate Vineyards.
The finest things in life are often hidden away, and that’s the case with the award-winning Andretti Winery. Nestled alongside a quiet country lane in the heart of the legendary Napa Valley, Andretti Winery exudes old-world charm as it whisks wine lovers back in time to a slower pace of life. Modeled after a Tuscan villa, the winery conjures up the boyhood home of its namesake, Mario Andretti, the finest race car driver of all time. Read more about Andretti Winery.
James Harder is a former wine business executive from Canada and his wife, Colleen, is a former marketing specialist. They purchased what was once a dilapidated equestrian center in 2000 and opened their tasting room in 2007. Only 11 acres in size, James Cole is in the Napa Valley AVA on Silverado Trail. It’s also near the famous Stags Leap AVA, helping influence James Cole’s amazing Cabernet Sauvignon. They also produce Chardonnay and Malbec. Read more about James Cole Estate Winery.

Really great day. From pick up till drop off at the end of the day, we laughed, joked, had fun, where entertained and educated, whiled listening to a magic music array. All of this was due to our tour guide and driver Dylan. He was excellent!! Read more
