On this tour of the beautiful Napa Valley, you will experience three of Napa’s wonderful boutique wineries. You’ll taste a variety of wines, such as Cabernet Sauvignon, Chardonnay, Zinfandel, Merlot and Syrah. These picturesque owner-operated wineries will provide personal attention and friendly hospitality with your private tasting experiences.

The Wineries You'll Visit

Tres Sabores is a small, family-owned ranch located on the western Rutherford benchland of California’s Napa Valley. They grow organically certified Zinfandel, Cabernet, Petite Syrah and Petit Verdot grapes; olives; Meyer lemons; and exotic pomegranate cultivars. Catered picnic lunches are available in their beautiful garden.

The Crocker & Starr name reflects the unique partnership between Charlie and Pam and the key components that each one brings to the table — great grapes and great talent — to make great wine. In 1997 Charlie Crocker and Pam Starr established Crocker & Starr with a common goal of resurrecting the historic Crocker Vineyard Estate and creating world-class wines from its extraordinary terroir.

Stag’s Leap Wine Cellars is most notably known for being the winery that won the Cabernet Sauvignon competition in the 1976 Judgment of Paris. It was founded in 1970 and is considered a Napa Valley first-growth estate.

Quintessa, like all classic wines of the world, bears the same name as the vineyard from which it is made. Their goal is to produce the best expression of this extraordinary vineyard each year.

Looking out across Opus One’s vineyards, one immediately senses that Opus One is different. Cultivated with passion and a singular vision, this joint venture between Robert Mondavi and Baroness Philippine de Rothschild produces a proprietary Bordeaux-style blend called Opus One. Opus One also produces a fine second wine called Overture.

Believing that a grapevine should be grown in healthy soil that supports all the nutrient needs of the plant, Frog’s Leap has been farming organically since 1988. Frog’s Leap is well known for their advancement of the principles of organic grape growing, dry farming and many aspects of biodynamics. Your tasting experience includes a sampling of gourmet cheeses.

Swanson Vineyards was founded in 1985 by W. Clarke and Elizabeth Swanson and is known for nationally distributing Pinot Grigio, Merlot and Alexis Cabernet Sauvignon. In addition, Swanson has long been creating limited production, tiny batch wines made from intriguing varietals. Your tasting experience is interwoven with storytelling, wine insights and conviviality, celebrating the many ways to enjoy wines accompanied by some of the world’s best chocolates, caviar and cheeses.
